Leland Living

Located across the Cape Fear River from Wilmington, Leland is a rapidly growing area in Brunswick County that is well known for lower home prices and new construction.

Leland is just far enough from Wilmington to still be called a “small town,” but is just a stone’s throw to historic downtown Wilmington (about a 10 minute drive). You can reach one of the more popular beaches with a short drive across the bridge (15 minutes to Wrightsville Beach, about 20 minutes to Carolina Beach), and historic Southport is only a 25 minute drive.

Several large planned developments have begun construction in Leland and homes can range from the lower $100,000’s to the $700,000’s range. Some of the more popular planned developments are Waterford of the Carolinas, Brunswick Forest, and Magnolia Greens, Eastbrook, Juniper Creek and Lanvale Forest.
